We are both really glad that school is done. We quickly fell into the summer routine here. The sun doesn't go down now until sometime around two. Wednesday we went over to Stan and Doris' house to visit and were there until almost 1 am. I think it is going to be a little bit funny when we get back for the sun to go down. I've been enjoying the nice weather and the time off by getting out and doing some fishing. I have'nt been very successful but I was able to dust off the ol' fly rod and lose some of the rust. I did get one whitefish but other than that I was o fer.

I couldn't get a photo of the midnight sun but I did take a picture at quarter after twelve. We are heading out of here at 9 a.m. Monday morning. We will be in Chicago for a few days and then head to lower Michigan for Phil and Karmen's wedding. Then finally we will make it to the u.p. It will be good to get back.

We are planning on heading back out here next year. Hopefully we will have picked up a Honda so that we can do even more exploring around here. We are looking forward to spending the summer in Michigan.
