On the River

Kayla's uncle Tim and cousin Dallas were in Noatak the week before in service. We went out fishing every day. We set the net and we also caught fish with rod and reel. We spent a couple of days closer to town trying to get fresh salmon, but they were starting to get colored up. One day we ran about 15 miles downriver and got into some bright salmon. We caught just about all the common species of fish with sheefish making a surprise appearance. We caught chum and pink salmon, dolly varden, whitefish, sheefish, grayling, and Dallas even caught a pike too.
